Siuna
The municipality of Siuna is the most populated municipality in the Atlantic Autonomous Region of Nicaragua (RAAN), making up 30% of the regional population. Of the 80,000 habitants of the municipality, 68,000 live throughout the 152 rural communities in the municipality. The urban population of 12,000 people is disbursed throughout the 17 barrios in the town of Siuna.
