My first year in Nicaragua was way more than what I had expected it to be. I had to wake up at 5:30 every morning to do hard work, fight off bugs, wash up using a bucket shower, walk everywhere I had to go, and cried when I had to leave back for home. I never thought that I would've adapted to their lifestyle, especially the early mornings. I really love everything that Nicaragua is and I'm definitely going back next year.

I want to thank my parents and family for motivating me to raise enough money and giving donations to help me gain the opportunity to visit another country.
